Police said the people were in a state of "cardiac arrest," meaning that they were discovered without a pulse and weren't breathing but hadn't been declared dead by a doctor. It's interesting to find out that they all died the same way.

It's tragic to see the outcome of what was meant to be a moment of warmth turn into a complete turn of events.

Maddie Moseman:More than 250 people dead in flooding across Asia

Intense monsoon season across parts of South Asia and China has left more than 250 people dead and hundreds more homeless, missing, or injured. In Pakistan, flash flooding has injured about 150 and killed 110. India is also putting up with the serve flooding, they have claimed 97 deaths. Southwestern China has had more than 40 deaths and 18 missing. Deaths of many people were caused from collapsing roof or electrocution by downed power lines. 2,000 villages in India are affected by the serve flooding as well as the power systems being crippled. Indian Home Minister Rajnath assures residents relief is soon coming. Government and the Indian army have also taken act in relief and rescue programs. It’s very devastating to see that so much has been taken away from so many people so quickly. The serve flooding due to the intense monsoon season has been the worst one in decades. Villagers suffer without a roof over their head. Many also are suffering from emotional strain due to family and friends recent deaths. Many recovery and relief programs have been discovered and are on the way to turning it all back around.

Ku Klux Klan (KKK) Recruitments, period 6, Moseman

Recently a white supremacist group called the Ku Klux Klan, or KKK, has been recruiting thousands. They mainly target African Americans, but also Jews, immigrants, gays, and Catholics. From New York to Texas they have been recruiting the average American citizen. Not only are they informally introducing this into American’s lives, they are trying to win us over with candy. Come on, candy? Bags are placed on doors or cars containing fliers, membership applications, and candy. Many are shocked and offended by this act they have taken on Americans. In Ferguson, Missouri this has seemed to turn on citizens. It’s a shame to think that America is still having racial issues. We are all the same. Take away our skin and you are left with bones, muscles, organs, a brain, and a heart, no matter what the person’s skin color, eye color, hair color, gender preference, or religion choice is, we are all Americans and we are all capable of respecting one another. That’s what makes everybody unique, their preferences and choices. If we were all white, all believed in the same morals, all had the same opinion and view of the world we live in, where we live would not be called America.

This article was written to raise awareness of the KKK and hopefully to spread the message of how terrible it is. The clan has mottos like "save our land, join the klan" and "if it ain't white, it ain't right." It disgusts me to see that something like this hasn’t been fully put behind us. We should not stoop so low to revisit this subject and try to still make it successful. We are better than that. We are Americans.

Story of Film

My thought about this video was a lot different than what I expected it be be about based off the tittle.  My though of this video only knowing the tittle, "Story of Film", Is that it would be about lots of different experiences throughout one entire film that showed the backstage features and plannings, but there was multiple point of views throughout this whole film that showed the impact of the film on characters, directors, and views. Also the film showed directors, morals of films, purpose of films, details of the film that are really important, and the meanings and opinions of films.
One thing I really liked was the fish fountain and how she only turned it on when special guest visited or arrived. An important thing that I learned was there are many important details in each frame and you have to pay attention very closely to get the full message the film maker intended. This film is really important to watch because you learn a lot from it and it can benefit you in your film making. One thing I would have liked to see more of is more examples of films throughout this film. Overall I really enjoyed this film and thought it was very helpful and interesting to see all the things I didn't know about films. This was a very wonderful and useful film that will help me in my posh film making! I have learned a lot of new things that I can incorporate into my films!
